The Servicemember Agricultural Vocation Education or SAVE, Farm located at 9680 N. 52nd Street outside of Riley will host a Small Farm/Homesteading Expo on Saturday, June 29th from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The SAVE Farm originally began to help servicemembers, veterans, and their families learn and build the resources needed to be successful in agriculture. It has now grown to serve all people. Tod Bunting, CEO of the SAVE Farm, said it is a training and healing farm.
The SAVE Farm offers credited education to people seeking to learn or gain more education in all aspects of farming. Bunting said the Expo should be a fun day on the farm with simulators, different stations, seminars, and more.
