Titan Travel researched the world’s most beautiful gardens, utilising TikTok, Instagram, Tripadvisor, and Google search data to discover which famous gardens should be on every traveller’s bucket list.

According to Titan Travel, Gardens by the Bay in Singapore is the world’s most Instagrammable flower garden, with over 1.2 million posts. With over 16 million tourists forecasted to visit Singapore in 2024, it’s no surprise there have been over 4 million Google searches in the past year for Gardens by the Bay. It also makes the perfect background for trendy TikTok videos, having been tagged in more than 27,000 TikTok posts with its average Tripadvisor review score of 4.5/5.
The Royal Botanic Gardens of Kew in London ranked as the second most Instagrammable flower garden, with over 772,000 Instagram posts. Titan Travel’s data shows that nearly 4 million Google searches in the past year indicate strong interest from visitors, while over 9,000 TikTok posts and an average Tripadvisor review score of 4.5/5 have made these gardens extremely popular among travellers looking for inspiration on social media.
Titan Travel’s data also highlights Tokyo’s Shinjuku Gyo-en as the third place as the most Instagrammable gardens, with over 713,000 Instagram posts. 4,550 TikTok tags show off the cherry blossoms in spring and the fields that turn into sprawling sheets of silk in the winter. The park isn’t an expensive activity either, with admission priced at £2.61. There are three different sections to explore. First, the Japanese landscape garden has large ponds dotted with islands and bridges, followed by the English garden, with open lawns and cherry trees, and lastly, the symmetrical French garden.
Further insights from the study indicate that 6 of the world’s prettiest flower gardens have free admission. In Europe, you can head to the Volksgarten and Mirabell Palace in Austria or check out the Arctic-Alpine Botanic Garden in Norway. What’s more, Pukekura Park in New Zealand, the Singapore Botanic Gardens and the Botanical Garden of Medellín in Colombia are all cost-free to enter.
Meanwhile, Longwood Gardens and Pukekura Park are Tripadvisor’s highest-rated flower gardens, with an average review score of 5/5.
