A 57-year-old man died Friday after he fell from a tractor and was run over by it, according to the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office.
The man’s 23-year-old son found his father unresponsive in a field he had been tilling in the 8000 block of Logana Road in Greenwood Township, the sheriff’s office said in a release. The incident was reported at about 6:24 p.m. Friday.
The man was taken to McLaren Port Huron hospital where he died from his injuries, the sheriff’s office said. Alcohol and drugs are not believed to be factors in the incident, it said.
