DECATUR, Ill. (WCIA) — Starting Wednesday, a series of free vegetable gardening workshops will be held once a month through October in Decatur.
Classes will teach participants all about how to grow vegetables, pests and diseases, fall crops, safe harvesting and more. Each session lasts from 10 a.m. to noon. All levels are welcome.

Workshops will be held at the Southside-Hill Community Garden on the corner of East Lawrence and South Maffit Streets. Participants are advised to bring their own tools and gloves.
